ABOUT THE ARTIST

The art of letter writing is disappearing and I hope that, with my cards, people will take a moment and connect with one another by sending a note - even just to say "I thought of you today." There is nothing like finding a handwritten note in your mailbox!
I have always loved paper and collect beautiful samples from many sources throughout the United States and other parts of the world. These papers are used in my handmade cards, collages and other creations.

Each step of my work is hand done by me and created with paper using a medley of artistic methods including weaving, origami, collage, painting, drawing and personally designed art stamps. I add bits of fiber and other interesting collected items. All cards are lined with blank paper for the writer's own personal words. The cards have envelopes with designs that match the card design.
